The Directors

Murray Gough OBE, Chairman
Murray has been a Director of Rangatira Ltd since 1994 and was appointed Chairman in April 2003. Within the Rangatira Group, he is Chairman of Precision Dispensing Systems Ltd and a Director of Te Kairanga Wines Ltd and Vita New Zealand Ltd.

Murray has extensive corporate experience and is a former Chief Executive of the New Zealand Dairy Board. He has been a director of several major New Zealand companies and currently holds directorships in ANZCO Foods, Rural Equities and Sealord Group.

Peter McKenzie, Deputy Chairman
Peter has been a Director of Rangatira Ltd since 1993. Within the Rangatira Group, he is Chairman of Polynesian Spa Ltd and a Director of Contract Resources Ltd and Precision Dispensing Systems Ltd.

Peter is a trustee of the JR McKenzie Trust, Rangatira’s largest shareholder. He is also a trustee of a number of charitable trusts and is the founder of Nga Manu Trust.

Nick Calavrias
Nick became a director of Rangatira Ltd in April 2005. Within the Rangatira group, he is Chairman of Contract Resources Ltd.

Nick has over 30 years of commercial experience as Chief Executive. He is a Director and Chief Executive of Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd and a member of the New Zealand Business Roundtable.

Lindsay Gillanders
Lindsay was appointed as a Director of Rangatira Ltd in October 2002. He is Chairman of Auckland Packaging Company Ltd and Vita NZ Ltd which are part of the Rangatira Group.

Lindsay has over 20 years of commercial experience at Fisher and Paykel. He was responsible for legal, regulatory, compliance and intellectual property rights, and has worked on major commercial agreements including acquisitions and divestments by both the appliances and healthcare businesses. He is currently a Director of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Ltd, Fisher Paykel Finance Limited and Fisher & Paykel Appliances Holdings Ltd.

Graeme Pentecost
Graeme has been a Director of Rangatira Ltd since 1997. Within the Rangatira Group, he is a Director of Polynesian Spa Ltd.

Graeme has extensive experience in the banking industry and was a former Managing Director of TrustBank NZ Ltd. He is a director of a number of private companies and trusts involved in the New Zealand superannuation industry.

David Pilkington
David was appointed to the Board in August 2006. He is a Director of Rangatira Group companies, Heller Tasty Ltd and Tecpak Industries Ltd.

David has had extensive experience in international business through his association with the Dairy Board and Fonterra. He operates his own business, Excelsa Associates Ltd, and holds directorships with a variety of New Zealand companies including Prevar Ltd, Ruapehu Alpine Lifts Ltd, Balance Agri-Nutrients Ltd, Zespri Group Ltd, Port of Tauranga Ltd, Restaurant Brands Ltd and Douglas Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
